Are you tired of feeling tired?

Let’s start from the beginning.

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that translates directly as the “knowledge” (veda) of “life” (ayu). Ayurveda is a branch of the Vedic tradition - an ancient Indian knowledge system, and the oldest wisdom tradition in the world - which is based on the idea that all of life, from the mundane to the majestic, is inherently connected and divine

Ayurveda is often thought of as only one component: Ayurvedic medicine. While Ayurveda is a profound approach to holistic health and healing, this is just one small dot on the vast map of this ancient tradition. Ayurveda is a path, a system of living, a spiritual journey that lasts a lifetime.

Ayurveda uses food as medicine, herbs, and lifestyle practices like meditation and breathwork to balance the dynamic energies within our body – creating harmony throughout our inner and outer worlds.

Many people experience feelings of exhaustion due to imbalances of vata. If you're able to restore those balances, you'll be able to decrease feelings of fatigue. You'll have more energy, which will help you to get more out of life.

Ayurveda's treatment for fatigue and exhaustion focus on the root cause of on going fatigue, exhaustion, lethargy, lack of vitality, and often feeling older than we are.

When you don't have the energy to handle basic tasks, things can feel hopeless. There are many people that have been in the same position you're in right now, and these people have found relief through Saumya Ayurveda. You can find out more about their experiences below:

"I found Saumya Ayurveda at a time when I truly needed an ally and an unbiased outside

perspective on some health imbalances in my life. After years of reaching out to various

conventional medicine practitioners and relying on my own limited knowledge, I felt tired, lost

and overwhelmed.

The first few minutes of my initial consultation with Veena were a breath of fresh air. I felt a

huge sense of affirmation. I felt like my head was finally above water. She helped me gain a

holistic look at where I am while devising a wellness plan that was simple and do-able.

Transportation limitations and bouts of crippling anxiety have historically prevented me from

seeking help, so I really take advantage of Veena’s E-consultations.

I’m very grateful for Veena's presence on my journey and look forward to having her at my side

for many seasons to come.”

– Lindsey Madhavi Ruder, Wisconsin

"When I first met Veena, I had been chronically tired for a few months and I couldn’t figure out

why or, how to fix it. I have also been feeling increased anxiety despite taking an SSRI for years.

Practicing yoga asanas, breathing, and meditation helped, but something was clearly missing.

Veena and I met for two hours, shortly after our initial meeting she had a plan for me, and I was

off and running! It was an easy plan to follow and I experienced almost immediate results.

A week after starting my customized Ayurveda plan, I felt like a different person. I had energy

again and better than before."

- Stephanie M., Minnesota

“Before I met with Veena, I was always tired. I would wake up and then need to take a nap. I had

pain all the time. Now I enjoy walks and the other day, I realized I had no pain, for the first time,

and I am very happy about that. I am a believer now!”

Make Time for Exercise

When you're tired, you might feel like you don't have the energy for a workout. It's important to remember that exercise can deliver nutrients and oxygen to your body, giving you a surge of energy. Regular exercise can also improve heart and lung health.

Thankfully, you don't need to get in an intense workout to enjoy the benefits of exercise. Yoga can be an excellent way to exercise your body, and it can also help you to ground yourself. When you schedule a consultation, Veena can recommend yoga asanas that will help you to reduce fatigue.

Ideal times to exercise by dosha type:

  • Vata does best by moving and grooving during Kkapha time (6:00-10:00a.m.) as the qualities of kapha (heavy, grounded, dense, stable and strong) protect vata's more delicate constitution.

  • Pitta does will to exercise during Kapha time as well.

  • Exercising during Vata time (2:00a.m. - 6:00a.m./p.m.) and Pitta time (10:00-2:00a.m./p.m.) is best avoided by both Vata and Pitta as these doshas can be easily aggravated during these times
