Expert Guidance for a Balanced Life
Veena Blilie is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, yoga-meditation teacher, and monk. Veena fell in love with Ayurveda in her family’s home, learning about herbal remedies at her grandmother’s knee.

She draws on this ancient wisdom to help others find their compass to a healthy life – and support those left wanting by Western medicine.

Personalized Ayurveda for Your Life: Understanding Root Causes
Often a concern doesn’t exist in isolation. Ayurveda considers the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—including your constitution, digestion, daily routines, food, sleep, stress, environment, season, and life changes.
Veena listens, asks questions, and connects the dots to explore what may be contributing to your patterns, why they may be showing up now, and what they can teach you about yourself.
-
Look beneath the surface. Explore how your constitution, lifestyle, and circumstances may contribute to what you’re experiencing.
-
Recognize the patterns. Look beyond individual concerns to understand the patterns connecting them.
-
Understand the why. Learn why specific foods, routines, herbs, or practices may be appropriate for you.
-
Address what’s underneath. Apply practical Ayurveda to the factors that may be contributing to imbalance—not simply the symptoms.
-
Learn to observe yourself. Recognize what supports or disturbs your balance through self-observation.
-
Work with the whole picture. When relevant, food, digestion, lifestyle, herbs, breath, meditation, daily rhythms, and seasonal living all have a place.
-
Build understanding, not dependence. Learn Ayurveda deeply enough to recognize patterns, make informed choices, and apply what you learn throughout your life.

What makes a consultation with Veena different?
Veena combines more than 30+ years of Ayurveda study, practice, meditation, and teaching with a deeply personalized, educational approach. Why doesn’t Saumya Ayurveda have an herbal online shop?
Because our favorite product is knowledge.
Saumya Ayurveda does not sell herbs or wellness products as part of its practice. The focus is you—not products.
Ayurveda is individualized. An herb that may be appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another, and what is useful at one point in time may not be appropriate later.
Rather than building care around products, Saumya Ayurveda begins with understanding you, your constitution, your current patterns, and your circumstances—then determining what, if anything, may be appropriate for you.
Herbs can be part of Ayurvedic care, but the deeper transformation comes from learning how to live in balance each day—through self-observation, daily choices, and understanding what supports your unique nature.
The focus is on helping you understand what you need and why, not selling you something to take.
