  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or your best milk)

  • 1½-inch peeled fresh ginger (Vata and Kapha may use more, Pitta take it easy)

  • Three bags of Organic India Tulsi Turmeric Ginger Tea

  • ¼ teaspoon Saumya Sweet Mix

  • Pinch ground nutmeg for some added nervous system rejuvenation

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon best sweetener from your Saumya Food Program

Instructions:

  1. In a small to medium saucepan, combine almond with ginger and warm over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.

  2. Steep Organic India tea infusion bags, approximately five minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and whisk in Sweet Spice Mix, turmeric, a bit more nutmeg, vanilla and your best sweetener.

  4. Pour warm milk mixture into a blender. Blend on medium speed until frothy. Alternatively, you can use a handheld frother.
