It’s All About the Right Herbs
Turmeric is renowned for its antioxidant properties and its role in helping protect the body from oxidative stress. Your Sweet Mix not only tastes heavenly—it is a digestive herbal formula created just for you.
Eating well and balancing your doshas through the foods you choose is one way Ayurveda turns food into nourishment. Support healthy agni (digestive fire) and reduce ama (accumulated waste) by eating according to your dosha.
Sprinkle your Sweet Mix on top for an added punch of flavor. It also adds herbs and spices traditionally used to support healthy digestion and elimination. Now doesn’t that sound better than wondering what’s in a latte from down the street?
Smooth, creamy, delicious, and nourishing—a true drink to your health. Now grab your favorite mug and enjoy every sip.
Ingredients
2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or your best milk)
1½-inch peeled fresh ginger (Vata and Kapha may use more; Pitta, take it easy)
3 bags Organic India Tulsi Turmeric Ginger Tea
¼ teaspoon Saumya Sweet Mix
Pinch of ground nutmeg for added nervous system nourishment
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon best sweetener from your Saumya Food Program
Instructions
In a small to medium saucepan, combine the almond milk with ginger and warm over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
Steep the 3 tea bags for approximately five minutes.
Remove from heat and whisk in the Sweet Spice Mix, vanilla, nutmeg, and your best sweetener.
Pour the warm milk mixture into a blender. Blend on medium speed until frothy. Alternatively, you can use a handheld frother.
Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy your Saumya Sweet Mix Latte.
Sweet Spice Mix

½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Mix together and store in a small airtight jar.
To use: Add ¼ teaspoon to your latte and adjust to tas
“Ayurvedic Recipe: Rejuvenation Latte is a Saumya Ayurveda client favorite. It's nourishing, and when we are nourished, we have the energy we want and need. We often confuse stimulation for energy. A jolt of caffeine is stimulation—a central nervous system stimulant, after all. What we seek is a sense of vitality and vibrance.”— Veena

Discover the Saumya Ayurveda Way
Ayurveda begins with seeing the whole person.
At Saumya Ayurveda, symptoms are not viewed in isolation. Ayurveda looks at the relationship between digestion, elimination, sleep, stress, energy, daily rhythms, mind, stage of life, season, climate, constitution, and current dosha imbalances to understand the patterns that influence how you feel.
When health concerns persist, it can be frustrating to feel that individual symptoms are being addressed without understanding the bigger picture. Ayurveda offers another way—one that asks not only “What is the symptom?” but also “What are the body and mind communicating?”
Personalized Ayurveda, Rooted in Tradition
Saumya Ayurveda combines classical Ayurvedic principles with practical guidance for modern life. Your Ayurveda plan is based on your individual prakriti (natural constitution), virkriti (current imbalances of the doshas), lifestyle, and circumstances—not a generic dosha checklist or one-size-fits-all protocol.
The goal is not to overwhelm you with rules. It is to help you understand your own body and mind, and make sustainable changes that fit naturally into your life, informed by the wisdom of Ayurveda.
For those who want ongoing support, concierge-style Ayurveda consultation packages provide personalized guidance, thoughtful follow-up, and practical tools to help turn Ayurvedic principles into everyday habits.
Education First. Personalized Guidance When You Need It.
Veena takes an education-first, client-centered approach. At Saumya Ayurveda, our favorite product is knowledge. You won’t find education built around selling a supplement, herb, or wellness product. Instead, you’ll find traditional Ayurvedic perspectives, practical guidance, and timeless principles that help you better understand your body, mind, and unique constitution.
When understanding deepens, better choices naturally follow.
For those who want ongoing support, Saumya Ayurveda consultation packages provide personalized guidance, thoughtful follow-up, and practical tools to help turn Ayurvedic principles into everyday habits.
