Service Description

“I feel greatly improved. Stress fell off like an old hairy coat. I’m just not anxious. Depression is way decreased. I was haunted by anxiety my whole life, and it’s just gone. The mudra, mantra...WOW. This is so cool! I have regained hope. Something wonderful is taking place. You and your knowledge come to me after a lifetime of searching and prayer. I am forever grateful.” --Mark Hughes, Minnesota Develop a yoga meditation practice that is designed specifically to you. Ayurveda and Yoga are sister-sciences that function together and reinforce each other. With a healthy body and calm mind, we can focus on our spiritual life. Without that, we face obstacles. Without a rich spiritual life, we encounter mental and physical imbalances. This is how the paths of Ayurveda and Yoga work in tandem. Ayurveda is often thought of only one of its components, Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurvedic medicine is one dot on the vast map of the path of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is not only a profound system and approach to health and healing, it is much more. The word, Ayurveda, says it all—Veda is the wisdom and Ayu means life. Ayurveda means the wisdom of life itself. Ayurveda incorporates yoga practices as tools for balancing Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas. Whether you are experiencing specific symptoms such as anxiety, pain, or seek to age with ease, our Ayurvedic Yoga Consultations have been proven to help. During your consultation, we’ll explore what practices will optimally support your own doshic picture. You’ll learn specific applications of yoga practices including asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), mantra, and mudra to rebalance and rejuvenate you. Who is Your Guide? Veena is a monk and certified Yoga Meditation Teacher since 1988. She is President Emeritus of the Meditation Center and served as President for 12 years. She has lived in ashrams in both India and the US. PAYMENT OPTIONS Pay in full with a debit or credit card – or opt for a budget-friendly payment plan via PayPal.
